About Primary Project Labs
We're a small education design studio in South Africa, and we make one thing: project-based Labs for children aged 9 to 13.
A Lab isn't a worksheet pack. It's a real problem worth solving: a base beside a river, a walkway for a beach that floods twice a day, a map someone else can actually follow. Your child studies the problem, works out the numbers, tests ideas fairly, and builds something they can stand behind. Then they explain what they'd change. That last part matters most to us.
Every Lab comes with an answer guide for the grown-up. It gives you the answers and, more usefully, the next question to ask, so your child gets there on their own.
The Labs are written by Werner Guderian, a teacher and curriculum designer who has taught for more than eighteen years across Asia. They draw on what the world's leading primary curricula have in common, so they fit beside any school or homeschool plan.
